Nepali investigative thriller FITKIREE will be screened in the UK by Sync Entertainment in May! The very first screening has been confirmed for 10th of May in Hounslow followed by Aldershot, Harrow and Ashford. FITKIREE stars the Kagbeni duo Deeya Maskey and Saugat Malla alongside the popular LOOT director Nischal Basnet and Shanti Giri. The film which has been directed by theatre guru Anup Baral was released across Nepal on March 21 with a screening in Sydney on March 23.
With only four months into 2014, this year has seen many well-made Nepali films hitting the silver screen starring promising faces with a compelling script. Fitkiree is another film that joins the list of Nepali films that have gone beyond the stereotypes of Nepali films where the actresses are chased across the rolling green hills of Nepal. It’s another effort by the new but familiar faces of the Nepali cinema in redefining Nepali films. With many viewers sharing satisfied and positive feedback of the film, UK based Sync Entertainment are positive that Nepalis living in the UK will also enjoy the film experience.
